test the gluten content of your beer

Which Chinese beer do you want me to test next?

Soon I will be travelling to China and as usual I will test some local beer. And I will not only test how they taste but also what gluten concentration they have. As I am little short in test kits at the moment I will test one Chinese beer and you can vote which one it should be.

No guarantee that I will get the winning beer but I will try my best. I have picked mainstream beers which should be available somewhere in Shanghai so it should work out. I excluded Tsingtao which I tested back in 2014 already. Find some useful information about the top Chinese brands here.

Please vote for the Chinese beer you want me to test next: Harbin, Snow, Yanjing, or Zhujiang

None of these beers are available at Trader Joe’s where I purchase about 98% of my singletons. However, I did check the ratings at Beer Advocate and RateBeer. Harbin had the “least bad” score, so it got my vote.

Hi Dogbite, thanks. I actually haven’t checked the ratings and just picked the most common ones.
There seems to be only limited interest in this poll and in Chinese beer in general to have tested on gluten. But I guess with more and more Chinese people adopting to Western lifestyle also the number of Celiacs will increase dramatically there.

      Cheers Steffen
